Dawn Cowhy Trustee 2004 - Present Dawn Cowhy has been a resident of Emmett Township for over 30 years. She is married to Larry Cowhy and together have three (3) children. Dawn graduated from Capac High School in 1987 where she participated in basketball and cheerleading. She attended St. Clair County Community College and graduated in 1991 with an associate's degree in nursing. She worked at St. John's Hospital, Surgical Intensive Care Unit for 11 years. She is currently attending University of Michigan-Flint for a degree in Education. She is a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Larry and Dawn are the owners of Cowhy Construction, Inc. Dawn is serving as an individual placed in a position of public trust since elected in 2004 and she also serves on the Zoning Board of Appeals.
